John Williams is a skilled and versatile teacher at The Music Studio Atlanta, providing instrument lessons across a range of instruments including piano, guitar, and saxophone. John has been actively teaching since 2016, leveraging a robust educational background that includes a Bachelor’s in Music and a Master’s in Education from Vanderbilt University. His early teaching experiences began at the W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville, TN, in 2011, and have since expanded to include a variety of educational settings from middle school rock bands and concert bands to high school marching bands.
John’s professional roles have included serving as the Director’s Assistant to the Vanderbilt University Marching Band and organizing notable music festivals such as the GMEA District 10 Middle School Band Large Group Performance Evaluation festival in 2018 and 2019. He also plays a critical role at The Music Studio Atlanta as Program Director and Teacher Liaison, where he implements programs that enhance music education and supports other teachers in their professional development.
