Kristen Hamon

Kristen hails from Cleveland, Tennessee where she attended Lee University receiving a bachelor’s in music education with a minor in French language studies and spent time studying abroad in France taking music and French language courses.  While at Lee, she spent three years in Ladies of Lee, an elective, traveling ensemble as a section leader.

Kristen has taught with The Music Studio Atlanta since 2019, both with the in home division as well as in studio.  While voice is her main instrument, she also plays the piano, recorder, clarinet, guitar, ukulele and violin, and has taught most of these instruments in a public school setting at the elementary level.

Kristen also dabbles in music composition and arranging which she uses to make pieces for her students to play or perform at their skill level. She says she loves seeing the progress her students make between recitals and seeing them smile when they get to play a song they love.
