Krysta is a dedicated and versatile music instructor with a rich musical background and a particular penchant for rock music in all its forms. Her journey into music, influenced by one of her parents who is also a classical musician, began at nine when she started playing the guitar. She expanded her repertoire to include the ukulele and bass, eventually graduating with honors from the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media’s guitar program. Krysta's playing style is diverse, excelling in genres from classic rock to jazz and classic funk, and she has a special affection for Japanese rock.
As an educator, Krysta's teaching philosophy is centered on tailoring lessons to fit each student's individual needs and goals, fostering a love for music along with the development of solid practice and technique habits. Her experience is extensive, ranging from assistant teaching guitar and ukulele classes in high school to instructing private lessons and leading music camps. She is particularly adept at teaching students with ADHD, drawing from her personal experiences and education to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
