We have a number of wonderful reasons to choose our Studio, but our most important reason is you probably won’t find another Studio that cares as much about your or your student’s growth as ours. We truly believe that when students have a goal, such as a recital, open mic, or any other of our performance opportunities, they will practice more, learn faster, and then through performing, become more self-confident! We want to nurture that self-confidence, helping students perform in a friendly, loving atmosphere where they can have great personal growth. We love providing options for our students! We have wonderful, fully equipped studio locations in Vinings and in East Cobb and are looking to expand into your neighborhood soon! If it’s not convenient for you to come to one of our Atlanta studios, we are able to service several Atlanta and East Cobb neighborhoods with in-home lessons (where the teacher comes to your home). They are at an increased cost, but it’s all about the amazing convenience of someone coming to you.
And if you are not in our service area or just want to enjoy lessons on your own terms, we offer weekly online lessons, and also this online option for when you travel for work or pleasure, or on the occasion when you or your children are under the weather and unable to come into the studio.
Choose from: piano lessons, acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele and electric bass lessons, singing/vocal lessons, drum lessons, string lessons (including violin, viola and cello), woodwind lessons (including clarinet, saxophone, flute) All in one location! We have a large roster of friendly, fun and talented teachers happy to assist you with your musical goals.
We also have Rock Band classes, Vocal Groups, Summer and School break Camps, Workshops and Bootcamps!
And if all that wasn’t enough, we also have classes that our students love include Piano Labs, Preparation for Recitals classes, Special Voice Techniques, Music Theory classes, Intro to Ukulele, Piano, Voice, Strings or Drums. Check your email for what classes are happening at your location!
We have a wide range of teaching hours, making it easy for you to find a time that fits your schedule! (Please check with your neighborhood location for teaching hours). With our large staff of wonderful, talented teachers, we make it easy for a family to take multiple instrument lessons at the same time, saving you time!

All teachers at The Music Studio Atlanta go through a multiple step interview and audition process, ensuring that they are in line with our Studio’s philosophy and standard of excellence. We also have yearly background checks on the entire staff for your peace of mind.
We have a very large staff of fabulous music teachers, all with either college training and/or professional performance experience. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn!
We want to find out about your personal musical goals and help you to achieve them. And with multiple teachers for each instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. If for any reason you are not meshing with your teacher, we will happily match you with teachers until you are loving your lessons!
We may have a fun appearance and feel, but we are serious about your student's safety and comfort. All of our teachers go through a rigorous interview process with full (yearly) background checks. We are also fully monitored with video cameras with audio located in all public areas within our buildings, and observation windows in each of our teaching rooms allow you to watch your student’s lessons should you choose.
At our Studios, we are also serious about cleanliness! We sanitize between students, have plenty of hand sanitizing stations, and offer all classes online at any time for the comfort of the student and family.

Each studio is stocked with everything you need for music lessons! We’ve included full sized keyboards and some acoustic pianos, amps, cords, full drum kits with pads, microphones and more. All you need to bring is your instrument. Our soundproof studios, complete with observation windows, allow for multiple lessons to occur without distractions!
We also stock lesson books for our clients’ convenience!
We offer many choices of our teachers’ go-to lesson, theory and activity books to ensure we have the perfect book choices for our students. We also have a huge music library of sheet music, and online sheet music accounts so your student finds the music they most want to learn!
We are the only full-service music school in the area with a professional customer service/front office staff available to assist you 7 days a week. Our office team is able to answer your questions quickly and is always excited to welcome you and your students! In addition, we have waiting areas all over the studios, including comfortable chairs, kids' books and activities, complimentary WIFI, magazines and a coffee and/or water station.
We offer many performance opportunities each year – our popular Winter Concerts, Open Mic Nights at St. Angelo’s Pizza every other month, Summer Recitals, St. Angelo's Summer Series, and of course our Destination Performance Series. Each of these give our students the opportunity to perform their music in a warm, loving atmosphere in different venues and for different styles of audiences. By offering several options, we are able to have more student participation, produce well rounded performers, and build student confidence!
Our patent pending, proprietary curriculum, The Musical Stripes Academy, was created to encourage student education and progress, being rewarded through a series of awards and continual recognition. The student progresses through levels of learning specific to their instrument for greater understanding and proficiency. With each level, the student earns awards and meets attainable goals. Students love the friendly competition with themselves and get excited about their own personal growth!
We teach year-round, allowing students to continually progress throughout the year. If you need to cancel lessons due to sickness, travel or summer camp, we have several options for you to not miss a thing! Should you need to stop lessons for any reason, all you have to do is let us know.
