Student performances aren’t an after-thought at The Music Studio Atlanta – they’re one of our main ingredients! We believe in providing our students with unforgettable experiences that inspire both musical and personal growth.
Introducing Our Destination Performance Series!
Our Destination Performance Series is a unique opportunity for students students enrolled in lessons at The Music Studio Atlanta to perform at iconic venues across the United States. These fabulous events encourage musical and personal growth through unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences at famous music halls.
Our first stop was Memphis, TN, where students performed on Elvis’ Graceland Stage. Imagine the joy of playing on the stage of such an iconic star! Our second stop was The Fox Theatre here in Atlanta, on September 11th, 2022. The Fox Atlanta is a world-famous stage that’s seen such greats as the Allman Brothers, Ray Charles, and James Brown. We are SO proud of our students as they braved the stage. Next, we visited the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on April 1st, 2023, and then the historic Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta, GA on October 28th, 2023. Most recently, we visitedthe Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City on July 5th, 2025.
Why Choose Destination Performances?
Explore the 10 amazing benefits of musical performance to see how these experiences can enhance your musical journey.
Rock & roll never plays by the rules. It breaks barriers, rewrites the script, and gives every generation its own voice. That's why the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame was built — to honor that unstoppable spirit.
Since its opening in 1996, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has become the ultimate shrine to music's greatest icons; from Elvis and The Beatles to Aretha Franklin and Prince. Millions of fans from around the world visit every year to celebrate the artists who shaped musical culture and changed history.
In 2023, our students lit up its legendary stage, creating memories that still echo today. And now, we're going back. On July 11, 2026, a new group of TMSA performers will step into the spotlight— not just visiting history, but adding their own chapter to it.
Few schools are ever given this honor once. Even fewer are asked to return. This isn’t just another recital — it’s a chance for your child to stand where legends live, lights blazing, music roaring, and memories made forever.

On July 5, 2025, we took our students to an unforgettable Destination Performance at the famed Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City!
Since its opening in 1891, Carnegie Hall has been a beacon of musical excellence, hosting some of the greatest musicians and performances in history. Weill Recital Hall, with such an intimate atmosphere, ensures that every note played will resonate beautifully, providing an exceptional experience for both performers and the audience.
Hosting our Destination Performance at Weill Recital Hall, which is known for its exceptional acoustics and prestigious history, was a unique opportunity for our students to perform acoustically and with live accompaniment.
This was more than just a performance; it was a milestone in their musical journey!
On October 28th, 2023, we sent out students to our latest Destination Performance at The Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre!
Since 1935, this beloved Marietta landmark has captivated audiences with its timeless charm. With its stunning architecture and storied past, The Strand Theatre has served as a cornerstone of the community, hosting countless memorable performances that celebrate the vibrant cultural heritage of Marietta.
As we rent this historic gem, we are honored to bring the magic of music to life within the hallowed halls of The Strand. Students used a separate back entrance and special mirrored dressing rooms backstage to prep for their performances!
Part of a fully functioning theatre, the stage was perfect for hosting our students' variety of performance styles, with a customizable backdrop and lighting for each performance.
